Monday Featured Blog – Lost Wanderer’s Writing Blog

What’s up?
The weekend went well – nothing out of the ordinary… Puppy’s a little perturbed at us – check out the pic at the end of this post – so sad…

I’m so lucky to follow such wonderful blogs! It makes these Monday posts so much easier, and today’s another great one! Our Featured Blog today is creative and informative. It belongs to Lost Wanderer over at Lost Wanderer’s Writing Blog .

She has a really cool and helpful series of posts on the writing process, you can find the latest installment Here. Her posts are organized and thought out – unlike someone’s *cough* You will learn something new each time you visit – I promise you that ;o)

She also recently asked how formal our writing is. She even posted a pic of her super sleek handwriting in her own writing journal. You can take a looksie Here

Another favorite post of mine is the dinner party with fictional characters – ingenious really. Check it out—> Dinner Party with Jane Austen’s Heroines

Her Profile Info:

Attempted recording of an aspiring author’s journey…well, at least some recording, after all there is such a thing as privacy even in this mad mad world of networking addicts.

Find her on Twitter as lostwanderer5

Go on over and take a gander at what she has to offer ;o)

I’d like to thank Cammie over at My Mental Marathon: Revising a Novel in less than 1 Year for the Superior Scribbler award. Check out her blog when you get a chance – it’s fun and insightful! Since I’ve already received this once, I’m going to skip the rules and such and just say thank you so much Cammie!

Welp, we had to get a cone for Maya (the rottie pup) she was recently spayed and was licking the incision so bad that the sutures were beginning to separate – I know, yuck! She just looks pitiful with her new cone… See for yourself… She did find a ball – but we had to take it away, she was getting too excited.

Can’t deny her cuteness even in a cone. She does not like her cone of shame.. LOL (Love “Up,” if you haven’t seen it – do!)

Well that’s all for today – enjoy your Monday! Look for’s first guest post with Jamie over at The Variety Pages tomorrow – she’s going to discuss branding ourselves LOL – no not actually “branding” ourselves… getting our name out there. Ha

  1. Aw, poor pup!

Thanks for sharing – I love it when you tell us about blogs out there in the world!

  2. Erica says:

Thanks Ms. J – yeah she’s completely mangled that cone! LOL You are very welcome ;o)

  3. Aww, poor Maya.

Lost Wanderer DOES have neat handwriting!

  4. Erica says:

Mel – I know, we feel so bad – wish we could tell her it’s only temporary! She does, it’s soooo much better than mine ;o)

  5. Diane says:

Great links. Poor pup, hope the cone isn’t for too much longer…

Hope you’ll join me for how “Cupid Shot Me” day at my bog :O)

  6. Cool new blog for me to follow 🙂 I LOVE her handwriting post… My own writing causes me SO much frustration because it’s sloppier than sloppy. I constantly search for a style I like. SIGH.

CUTE puppy pic. When my cats got spayed when they were younger, they had to wear the cones too and they HATED it. But they were SO cute in their misery. Ugh. I might be a secretly cruel owner for thinking that I guess, but I swear I was happy when I was allowed to take the cones off!!

  7. Erica says:

Diane – Nah, she’s handeling it okay, hubs takes it off to walk her, she loves that! Sure – stoppin by now ;o)

Sara – Oh yay! Yes I know her handwriting is excellent, Mine looks like I write with my left hand (I’m right-handed) LOL

Aww, I bet getting the cone off was a good feeling, no you’re not a cruel owner – we laugh at her running into everything ;o) LOL

  8. Natalie says:

That looks like a fun one! I love these Monday posts Erica, you always have such great suggestions for new blogs.

  9. Awww…Thanks Erica for such a lovely post. 🙂 I feel like a late comer at my own party, but unfortunately long work day.

Hope Maya is better soon. 🙁

Looking forward to your post on Jamie’s blog tomorrow.

  10. Erica says:

Natalie – Aww thank you! That means a lot ;o) I know you’re going to enjoy her blog!

LW – LOL – you are never late here! You are very welcome! I understand the late work day – I’m in mine right now! She’s got another week in the cone, then she should be good.

LOL – woops I worded that wrong – it’s actually Jamie that’s visiting here… I changed the wording in the post. Sorry ’bout that ;o)

  11. Poor puppy! Can’t wait to check out another fab new blog. Thanks E!

  12. Erica says:
