Sick & Tired of Being Sick & Tired…

Hi Guys,

I’m so sorry.

There won’t be a featured blog tomorrow. I’m still under the weather.

I know. I have surgery then I get sick… welp, what can ya do, right?

In fact, I can’t seem to shake this stuff. I also haven’t been to hardly any blogs, and I’m very sorry for that as well.

I’ve been trying to rest and stuff, hoping this will go. I’m hoping by the weekend I should be back to normal strength and blogging regularly next week (well regular for me) LOL ;o)

I hope you’re having a great time and writing lots of awesome words!! I will work on getting to your blogs this weekend. In the meantime, I’d like to pose this question to you.

To Freelance or not to Freelance? Any of you do this?

Man Erica, I’ve been so out of it, I didn’t even know you’d had surgery. Or maybe I did and forgot. I hope you get better soon. Sometimes life really sucks.

  9. Kaylie says:

    Feel better soon.
To answer your question, I’ve done a little magazine writing, (good for the ol’ self-esteem) but I think any other freelancing would take too much time away from the novels.

  10. Annarkie says:

Aww. I hate being sick. Hope you get well soon!

  11. Take good care of yourself and recover.

Freelancing is not easy and the best way to start is by doing it part time. You also need to be super organized. But it can definitely be done. Go to your local library and check out some books on the subject. 1 title I recommend is SIX-FIGURE FREELANCING by Kelly James-Enger.

    Best of luck! 🙂

  12. C R Ward says:

That’s really not fair, having surgery and then getting sick. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

  13. You poor thing. I hope you feel better soon.

I don’t freelance. I’m not sure I’m organized enough to attempt it.

  14. Matt – no worries ;o) Thank you.

Kaylie – you have a great point. Just something I’ve been thinking about… thanks!

NFN – Thank you – will check it out ;o)

Thanks everyone else for the well wishes. You’re all so sweet ;o)

  15. Hope you feel better soon Erica! Being sick blows.

As for freelancing, I’ve dabbled, but haven’t really been able to get a lot of assignments. Granted, I haven’t really tried that had. Yeah, I’m sort of lazy…

  16. I’m sorry you’re still not feeling well. 🙁 Don’t worry about the blogs. Just get better.

  17. Kate says:

i’d make you chicken soup, but it’s hard to pass noodles through the internet, so you’ll have to make it yourself. i sugest oj too.

  18. Lila- Thanks ;o) Lazy. You?, no way…

    Mel – Thanks ;o)

Kate – Aw, thank you! Yeah, noodles would get stuck in the hard drive… LOL

  19. This makes me very sad 🙁 I hope you feel better soon…poor Erica.

  20. Carolina – Aw, don’t be sad ;o( I’m okay, getting better every day! :o)

  21. Eric says:

I hope you’re feeling better very soon. Get lots of rest.

And for your question, I had to ponder this very thing recently as I am deciding on a career change. For me, it is way to shaky to become a full time freelancer. I do it part time, but I am too nervous to do it full time. Of course, I have a family to provide for so I have to make sure we have everything we need (like health benefits, etc). But if I were a single person, I’d probably do it.

  22. Hope you feel better soon! I know what it’s like to feel like you’re having endless sickness. I went through that earlier in the spring.

  23. Oh, I hope you feel better soon soon soon!

  24. I hope you are feeling better. 🙂
